Trolling ozempic, I know a lot of people that should watch this

I think this is the series repackaged in a movie. I just remember I saw that….
If anyone digs the Stargate family of actors, this was done by David Hewlett of SGA, featuring his sister Kate, as well as Chris Judge from SG-1 and Rachel Lutrell from SGA. It’s left of center & comedy fits them well.
I put in a request at TVMaze to have the series added, I’m much too lazy to do all that work, so if it does happen I’ll add links here.
That was so groovy.

G-Force: Guardians of Space was a much better, and more accurate, adaptation.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0302109
Apparently, there is no TVMaze listing for it, so there is no page for it here, but if you are interested message me I can give you an Archive dot org link that has most of the series.

there is literally nothing more old school than this
Seriously, this is indeed dandy. You’re a little rascal, you are! A tabula rascal! (musses up hair).
Thanks to Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey we now have films like this.
New spin on The Wicker Man. Engaging until the end. Look forward to more.
I’ve been on a Daniel-Day Lewis run for a couple of days now. I’m embarrassed to say I’m quite sure I have not watched this movie yet. I can’t wait to be dazzled!
Athena needs to seriously apologize to dude, after accusing him pulling a gun on him etc.
Good cast, good acting, direction, and cinematography, but a weak script and general lack of anything remotely scary, let alone “terrifying.” I guess if you believe in the literal devil, YMMV, maybe?
There is one really good scene of Nell Tiger Free doing a kind of possessed body horror zombie interpretive dance, that might almost be worth the price of admission, but it’s too little too late.
who is that horrendous looking woman who plays the agent? couldn’t they at least find someone who can act?
No, he’s a time traveler, a recurring character on the series Star Trek: Enterprise.
You’re thinking about someone different. Odo is a shapeshifter from Deepspace 9 and was the guy that Sisko always called ‘Constable’.
Kind of a disappointment. Pretty played out premise at this point but even with the earlier hints I didn’t think they were going there but they got me. Think it woulda been more interesting if it was angels instead of aliens but still a weird twist either way.
Your post is quite funny, newman ~ bizarre and made me giggle 🤪
My mom has always told me to take things as a whole.. Focus less she says. I can’t help it 😂
Glad to give you a laugh.. 😁
This guy needs to stop making movies.
Agree. however, he’ll only make more ‘Comedy’ specials for Netflix or aim for the next low buck and make a reality tv series. Not sure which is worse tbh.
police unions help police officers avoid accountability.. its like they have superpowers - “Its a system that privileges a class elite, a racial elite, people who are free of social stigma. And yet there are many people involved in shoring it up, who find themselves on the wrong side of all of those divides”…
well presented, thoughtful.. required reading..
Would change one word of this over from “elite” to “parasites”. There’s nothing elite about do-nothing bottom-feeding degenerate thugs that redistribute the rewards of others labor to themselves.
Originally entitled “Chasing Shakespeare”, this is a beautiful love story - social observation that meritocracy is a sham, a scheme, a scam.
The film shows the brutality & hypocrisy of society where race & mobility through personal merit are concerned. It’s probably Glover’s best acting ever. Chelsea Ricketts does a fine job playing the younger version of his wife. The story breaks your heart & mends it all at the same time. Aboriginal Native American 1st Nation director Noory Niven tells the story his way, which is smart, artful & satisfying.
Lovely photography & direction, wonderful editing tells the story in flashback remembrance style.
11 out of 10 = worth watching more than once. You’ll share it with people special to you.
You mean you couldn’t stand the show yet watched every episode?
I suppose it’s like they say, the definition of insanity is doing the same the thing and expecting different results.
I’m not the one that came to your comment trying to contradict you. Don’t get butt hurt because you can’t make a better argument. Nice how you had to resort to insults. lol

The end was horrible.
The last season was okayish, but not enough pew pew.
I hate the artificial grin of the captain, but that’s actually realistic, because there are actually people out there IRL doing that (and I hate them just as much).
You really, really don’t get Star Trek! Strength through diversity has always been the central theme of the show. The writing was excessively sentimental, and the first few seasons suffered from too many good ideas that couldn’t go anywhere because of canon. But otherwise it was a strong series.
It was all feelings and relationships with every woke concept possible shoved into each episode absolutely shoved down your throat. Good riddance
ok, however, tos had 79 episodes. discovery had 65. your analysis is illogical
Given that it has a 7/10 on IMDb, 84% on RT, 86% on Google and 7.3/10 on TVMaze coupled with, as I already stated, top 10 ranking for the last 3 weeks among streaming shows, the only thing illogical is that it has a lower rating here. I’m sure that has a lot to do with the demographics of users here, as evidenced by how many cry about how woke a Star Trek show is even though it has always been the case. Was it the most successful or best Star Trek show, no, but I didn’t make that claim.
BTW, episode count is irrelevant as no shows on streaming sites get 20+ episodes a season like shows used to.
There has been so much whining about this show, but it got 5 seasons. TOS only got 3 and none of them got more than 7. Despite all the haters, it’s finished in the top 10 steaming shows for the last 3 weeks and will likely be there this week as well. All in all, it was a worthy addition to the Trek Universe, and I’ll miss having a live action Trek fix because it’s going to be awhile before we get anything new. Strange New Worlds in 2025, Starfleet Academy in 2026, and still no word on when Section 31 will be happening.

My new favorite Laurence Fishburne performance. A really fun watch.
